NOVA’s staff and wonderful volunteers are gearing up for this fall’s annual Galaxy Art Show & Sale. This much-anticipated event is your opportunity to view and purchase select works of our region’s most talented and recognized artists, on display again this year in the third-floor rotunda of the Bucks County Courthouse, Court and Main streets, in Doylestown. Your purchases benefit the many programs and services NOVA provides in the county to victims of crimes and their families.

The four-day show and sale begins with a special preview reception Thursday evening, November 6, from 5pm to 8pm. Meet the artists, winning entries, judges, NOVA personnel and board—and enjoy delicious food and wine. Tickets for the reception are $35.

The show and sale then continues—with free admission—on Friday, 10am to 8pm, Saturday, 10am to 5 pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

As in past years, you will be able to view and purchase paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, glass, wood, ceramics and clothing created by local and regional artists of renown. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold for five themed baskets during the show with winners drawn Sunday afternoon.

This year's featured artist is Helena van Emmerik-Finn of Doylestown.
